We are proud to introduce
our trainers...

Amira Stevens

I knew at a young age that there was no better job than to help give people their lives back through Fitness and Nutrition. When I found CrossFit I instantly fell in love and knew this was the best way to do that. CrossFit was so much more than just a workout. Besides being the hardest workouts of my life, I had so much fun doing them and the community you find in CrossFit is unlike anything else out there. Everyday that CrossFit 222 grows and changes another life, I am forever grateful I made the decision to open up this gym and I have God to thank for my success.

I began weightlifing in high school and continued using it as part of my football training throughout college.  I was introduced to CrossFit during the Police Academy and joined CrossFit 222 in 2014. I then joing their coaching stall in 2017 after obtaining my CFL1.  I would never have imagined that I would be in better shape now than when I was  a 20 year old college athlete.  The sense of community and the transformations of athletes at CrossFit 222 that I have witnessed are undeniable and are the reason why I love coaching.

Kasi Egbert

I started CrossFit in 2015 in a local gym in Lexington, Ky.  Once I moved to La Grange I wanted to join an actual "Box".  I now call CrossFit 222 my second home!  I recently became an L1 instructor and am really enjoying every minute of transitioning into my new coaching role.  I am a registered Nurse in Utilization Management and so helping others lead a happier, healthier, stronger life is a big part of my life. The main reson I decided to become an L1 Instructor is to share my passion of CrossFit with others, helping people reach their ultimate fitness goals, and foster a positive environment where people can grow both mentally and physically.  I am known for pushing you out of your comfort zone, so don't be surprised if you hear me say "lets add a little more weight to that bar"!

I was a 3 sport athlete throughout high school but never really enjoyed “working out”. It was just something that went along with playing ball. As I got older, I tried to stay in shape but could never really find something that I liked enough to stay consistent with. That all changed when I found CrossFit in 2014. I fell in love with it immediately. It was so much more than just a workout - it wasn’t about lifting weights to look a certain way, it was about seeing what my body and mind could accomplish. I was taught to move safely and efficiently. That’s what kept me coming back. I became a coach about a year later because I love helping other people discover what I discovered. I love to see people feel a sense of accomplishment when they do something they didn’t think they could - whether it’s getting their first double under, or just making it to the gym 3 days in a row. The community here is phenomenal and accomplishments are celebrated together. You’ll never have a better cheering section!

Crossfit was always something that I wanted to try, but I was scared it would be too hard... I was wrong!
While it is hard, it is doable and when you start seeing the results of your hard work, it makes it all worthwhile!
I grew up playing sports and have always loved fitness and living a healthy lifestyle... I have had personal trainers, several gym memberships, home gyms, tried multiple online programs AND nothing works like CrossFit... The results can not be denied.
Crossfit 222 is full of athletes at all different levels. It's a joy to train at 222 and a privilege to watch everyone grow. We have an AMAZING community.
When I'm not training or working out, I love spending time with my family. I am married to Justin Bradley and we have 3 children... Jordyn, Beau and Lyla Mae. We love to travel any and everywhere and dropping in at other CrossFit gyms is always a blast. I'm thankful everyday that I found CrossFit 222 and have been able to live a healthy life and better myself each day.
